Montana Storm Water Conference [Bozeman]

First held in 2009, the Montana Storm Water Conference was intended to provide regional and national perspectives as well as practical solutions for managing storm water in Montana.   100 attendees were present for the first conference and subsequent events were organized for 2012 and 2014 with attendance growing to 140 attendees.

By the time planning started for the 2018 conference, the conference hosts – Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MTDEQ) – knew they wanted to raise the bar even further.  There Goal:  175 attendees with regional and national speakers in a truly regional conference.  MNW Destinations staff started with rebranding the event – creating a stand-alone website reflecting a truly regional event and allowed us to showcase the expertise featured at the conference.  Working closing with the conference planning committee and MTDEQ, a exemplary program was created and MNW Destinations staff marketed the event to potential attendees and sponsors not only across Montana, but also across the western US.

Final result – 270+ attendees, expanded trade-show and training that was in such high-demand that we had to add an additional day.  Mission completed!
